I had a wonderful stay at the Marriott Jeju Shinhwa World Hotel, enjoying the spacious and comfortable deluxe family room. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to various attractions in Seogwipo, though the restaurant service could be a bit lacking in flexibility at times. Overall, it was a great experience with excellent service and amenities available within the resort complex.

The deluxe family room was large and comfortable, perfect for two adults and a teenager. I appreciated the spacious bathroom layout which made it convenient for multiple people to get ready at once.
Service

The staff were generally attentive and helpful, with special mention to Veronica at the front desk who provided excellent service during our stay. However, I did experience some communication issues with the restaurant staff which impacted our experience.
Location

The resort's location was peaceful and close to Seogwipo’s attractions, making it easy to explore the area. However, it was a bit far from certain dining options if you wanted something different from what was available at the resort.
Dining

The buffet breakfast was decent but quite pricey for what we had, and the options were limited. I found better value and variety at nearby breakfast spots instead.
Facilities

The resort featured many great amenities, including a lovely pool area, but you had to register in advance to use it. There were also various restaurants to choose from within the resort itself.

I had a good stay at Marriott Jeju Shinhwa World Hotel, enjoying the spacious grounds and responsive front desk. However, there were notable clean-up issues in the room and I found the gym hours a bit disappointing for a 5-star hotel. It definitely caters more to families than couples, which might not suit everyone's needs.

The room was spacious and comfortable, but I faced issues with cleanliness during my stay. For instance, used cups were left unwashed and tea supplies were not replenished.
Service

The front desk staff were attentive and very responsive, especially when I needed help with a reservation in Korean. However, the restaurant staff sometimes struggled with English, which affected service.
Location

The hotel is well-positioned within a massive resort area making travel around Jeju easy, though it might be a bit far from other attractions and options for dining off-site.
Dining

While the breakfast buffet offered a decent variety, it felt too pricey for what was available. I also noticed dining options in the mall were somewhat limited.
Facilities

The resort had ample amenities, but I found the gym's limited hours and capacity quite frustrating, especially with only two treadmills available for guests.

It's located in a quiet area on the west side of Jeju. While it offers different amenities, it’s somewhat isolated from other attractions which require a cab ride.

My stay at Marriott Jeju Shinhwa World Hotel was pleasant overall; the resort offers spacious rooms and a wide range of family-friendly amenities. However, I did face some issues with room cleaning and restaurant service that could use improvement. Still, the convenience of the location and the amenities available make it a good choice for families traveling with young children.
